Focus Gently is a remote adult ADHD clinic registered with the Care Quality Commission. We assess, diagnose, start medication safely and stay with you for as long as you need us, from anywhere in the UK.

Too many adults get a diagnosis and are then left with nobody to prescribe.

Clinics close. Shared care gets refused. People are discharged mid-titration. We built Focus Gently so that getting diagnosed and getting treated are one continuous service, with the same team, a clear monthly price and no joining fee.

How your care works

Every step happens by video call and secure forms. You never need to travel.

  1. Free pre-screening

    A short self-report questionnaire tells us whether a full assessment is likely to help you.

  2. Specialist assessment

    A structured clinical assessment backed by a QbTest, an objective computer-based measure of attention, activity and impulsivity. You get a written report within 10 working days.

  3. Safe start on medication

    We aim to start your treatment within a week of accepting your diagnosis. We check your heart health and blood pressure first, then adjust your dose gradually with regular reviews.

  4. Ongoing care

    Once you are stable, we keep prescribing and reviewing, and ask your GP each year about taking over under shared care.

What we do, and what we don't

We would rather be clear up front than disappoint you later.

We will

  • Assess and diagnose adult ADHD
  • Take over prescribing if you already have a UK diagnosis, aiming to start treatment within a week of accepting it
  • Review existing reports before you commit to anything
  • Write to your GP about shared care

We won't

  • Prescribe anything other than ADHD medication. Mood and heart medicines stay with your GP
  • Accept diagnoses made outside the UK without a UK reassessment
  • Take on care that needs a face-to-face or specialist team. We will tell you honestly and point you elsewhere

Regulated and accountable

Controlled drug prescriptions are sent directly to our partner pharmacy and delivered to you by tracked post. Your identity is verified before treatment starts.
