Payment Plan Terms of Service

Last updated: 21/7/26

These Payment Plan Terms ("Terms") apply when you choose to pay for your ADHD Diagnostic Consultation with Focus Gently ("we", "us", "our") using our instalment payment plan, rather than paying in full at the time of booking. By selecting the payment plan option at checkout, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service and the price

The ADHD Diagnostic Consultation is a comprehensive 90-minute assessment with a specialist ADHD nurse prescriber, using validated diagnostic tools and a full clinical and developmental history. The total price is £750.00. Choosing the payment plan does not change the price — no interest or additional charges are added for paying in instalments.

2. How the payment plan works

When you choose the payment plan, the total price is divided into an initial deposit taken at checkout and one or more scheduled instalments taken automatically afterwards. The exact amounts and dates of your payments are shown to you at checkout before you confirm, and again in your confirmation email.

By confirming your booking on the payment plan, you authorise us (and our payment provider) to automatically charge the payment method you provide for each scheduled payment on its due date, until the full price has been paid.

You are responsible for making sure the card or payment method on file remains valid and has sufficient funds for each scheduled payment.

3. The deposit

The initial deposit of is due at checkout and secures your appointment. The deposit is non-refundable except where required by law / your consumer cancellation rights below apply.

4. Your appointment and payment

Appointment before full payment: Your consultation may take place before all instalments have been paid. In this case you remain responsible for all remaining scheduled payments after your appointment. Your written outcome letter will be issued once your balance has been paid in full.

5. Missed or failed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will attempt to take the payment again and will contact you to let you know. Please make sure your payment details are up to date to avoid this.

If a payment remains unpaid, we may: (a) pause or withhold your outcome letter until your balance is settled; (b) reschedule or cancel an appointment that has not yet taken place; and (c) recover any outstanding balance owed to us for a service already provided, including through a debt recovery process where necessary. We will always try to contact you and agree a solution before taking any of these steps.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Appointments rescheduled with sufficient notice can be moved free of charge; cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, or missed appointments, may result in the loss of your deposit.

Cancelling an appointment does not automatically cancel your payment plan. If you wish to cancel your plan, please contact us at info@focusgently.com so we can arrange it with you.

7. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

Because you are booking at a distance, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking and receive a refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, if you ask us to provide your consultation within this 14-day period and the consultation takes place, you may lose this right, or we may charge you for the service provided. Full details of your cancellation rights are set out in [our main Terms and Conditions / available on request].

8. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be made to your original payment method within 7 working days. The deposit is non-refundable . Refunds do not apply to a consultation that has already taken place, except where required by law.

9. Important note about the assessment

The consultation is a clinical assessment. It results in a detailed outcome letter confirming whether or not you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD. Choosing the payment plan does not entitle you to any particular outcome or diagnosis, and the full price is payable regardless of the assessment's findings.

10. Contact and governing law

If you have any questions about your payment plan, or need to update your details, please contact us at info@focusgently.com

These Terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
