Is the screener a diagnosis?
No. It’s a validated self-report screening tool that indicates whether a full assessment is likely to be worthwhile. It cannot diagnose ADHD — only a comprehensive clinical assessment can do that.
What happens after I take it?
You get an instant, shareable summary of your results. If it points toward ADHD, you can choose to book a full assessment with our service. There’s no obligation, and no account is needed to take the screener.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can come to us directly — there’s no need to be referred first.
Who carries out the assessment?
Assessments are carried out by a Nurse Independent Prescriber. Focus Gently is registered with the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
Is everything done remotely?
Yes. The screener, assessment and any follow-up are carried out remotely, so you can be seen from home wherever you are in the UK.
How much does it cost?
An initial assessment is £750, or £1,195 for the assessment together with the follow-on pathway. Ongoing reviews and prescribing support are available afterwards, with pricing shown above. The screener itself is free.
